Final Exams

To figure out when your final exam will take place you need to know the following information. There is a code letter and number located in the last column of each course listing on pages 4 and 5. The letter F stands for Manitowoc and all the codes begin with this letter. The number that follows represents the date and the number after the dash represents the time slot of the exam.

            Final exams for the fall 2006 semester will be held from Monday, December 18 through Thursday, December 21. There are seven, two hour, time slots each day for finals that are numbered 1 through 7, they are:

1 = 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
2 = 10:00 to 12:00 p.m.
3 = 10:30 to 12:30 p.m.
4 = 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
5 = 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
6 = 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
7 = 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
8 = 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

            An example of the code number is F18-1 which translates to Manitowoc (F) December 18 (18) 8:00 a.m. (1). F20-4 is December 20 at 1 p.m., and so on.

            Besides being posted with the course listing, a student’s personal exam schedule can also be viewed in the student’s online file accessed through PRISM.
