Community Collaborations

University Theatre

University Theatre is UW-Manitowoc's campus/community theater group.  There is usually one performance per semester and the community is invited to audition and participate.  For more information, contact Director John Wright at 920-683-4722 or e-mail jwright@uwc.edu

Lakeshore Wind Ensemble

The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble entertains the community with several concerts each year, and has even taken its music abroad on several occasions.  There are currently nearly 85 members, ranging in age from 17 to 90 years old.  The membership is comprised of UW-Manitowoc students, alumni, music educators, community professionals, and musicians from the surrounding community.  For more information, contact Director Michael Arendt at 920-683-4688.  

Lakeshore Big Band

The Lakeshore Big Band's 25 plus members came together out of the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble because of a love of playing Jazz and Big Band Music.  The Lakeshore Big Band normally performs two concert/dances each year at the Manitowoc Holiday Inn and one combined concert with the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble at the Capitol Civic Center in Manitowoc.  For more information, contact Director Michael Arendt at 920-683-4688.  

UW-Manitowoc Chorus

County Board

The Manitowoc County Board meets the third Tuesday of every month on the UW-Manitowoc campus.  Meetings will be held in the County Board Room located in UW-Manitowoc's Founders Hall.
