About UW-Manitowoc

The University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc is one of the 13 campuses of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, which are part of the 26 campus UW System. UW-Manitowoc offers a freshman-sophomore curriculum, a highly qualified faculty and, along with the other UW Colleges, the lowest tuition in the UW System.

We offer the Associate of Arts and Science degree and general education courses, which are the foundation of any bachelor's degree. Students can transfer easily to a UW baccalaureate campus or other public or private institution to complete their degree. For a complete campus overview, visit our viewbook.

The mission of the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc is to advance the Wisconsin Idea by bringing the resources, opportunities, and leadership of the University of Wisconsin to the Manitowoc County area, and, specifically, to provide residents access to the University by offering a liberal arts-based, general-education curriculum as preparation for successful transfer to a baccalaureate institution and for lifelong learning to meet the challenges of a changing world.
