The University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc, responding to the needs of both working traditional-age students and adult students, has designed an alternative evening track program for students who are unable to attend classes due to daytime responsibilities.  Starting this fall, students can complete the Associate of Arts & Science (AAS) degree in three years or less by attending classes offered through the Evening Degree Program.  Now you don’t have to quit your day job, or place children in daycare in order to earn a University of Wisconsin degree.

With the changing needs of the workplace and the current economy, many adults are seeking to increase their skills through education, or are pursuing a completely new career path.  Many students see UW-Manitowoc as a great place to start and the addition of the Evening Degree Program will provide even more opportunities.

The Evening Degree Program gives the opportunity to community members who may have always wanted to obtain their associate’s degree at UW-Manitowoc, but with work and family have not had the ability to attend traditional daytime classes. Now it will be possible to earn all the credits in the evening to obtain a degree
