Library Instruction

Education in information literacy skills is a central component of the library program at UW-Manitowoc. Use this form or contact Peggy Turnbull to arrange a date and time for an instructional session. Please contact Cristi Faucher if you wish to meet in a computer lab. We prefer to have at least a week's prior notice.
Instructional units recommended for the freshman-sophomore curriculum are listed below. A session may include more than one component and provide time for student practice, depending upon the length of the class. The links below lead to fuller descriptions and time estimates; information is provided courtesy of the UW Baraboo Library.
The following are examples of more specialized instructional units that are designed for a 50-75 minute class and are available upon request. Similar or new units are possible; please contact a librarian if interested.
