be made directly to the first place winners on the evening of
the March 7th, 2009 Concert of the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble.
Judges:
Judges for the

and piano specialists/artists. Each judge will provide contestants
with written comments at the end of preliminary and final auditions.
Preliminary winners will receive their written comments for both
the preliminary and final auditions at the conclusion of the
contest. Any judge having a family, teaching, or professional
relationship with a contestant must declare that relationship
and abstain from voting on that individual performance. The decisions
of the judges are final.
General:

of each contestant to ensure that wind ensemble parts are available
for works to be auditioned, and must furnish the name and address
of the publisher or other source on the application form. Contestants may forfeit
their right to audition and winners may forfeit their awards
if their chosen work is not published or is unavailable at the
time of the audition for the solo instrument and wind ensemble/band
