Preface --1995 Issue

Another year, another Notebook - whoops -- I mean another WONDERFUL Notebook. I am particularly happy to have persuaded Ken to show off some of his recent work. His fine, doctorally garlanded piece on Sir David Ross appears on page 43 (if 'doctorally garlanded' is English). We also have a couple of Louzecky collaborations: one with Roger and one with a mysterious Tamara Louzecky. Hmmm.

This year's cover illustration was stolen, that is borrowed, from our brand new Webpage (thank you Al) and adjusted to fit the Parmenidean mood I'm in (although were my mood truly Parmenidean it would not, of course, admit to any adjustments). Parmenides notwithstanding, the order of articles this year was selected by rolling dice and rolled into a nice Palatino.
