"Another Day"

I never thought in all my years, there would be a song that would bring me tears

One that I’d write to call my own, there’s just some things you don’t forget

If I had to do it all again, I’d change nothing to this my good friend

And when I thought it got the best of me you would stop and grin at me

You were always there to see me grow and for now have to let me go

But remember that this won’t be the end

Life keeps you humble so I hope to see, I stop to wonder who I’ll be

I hope to go far and won’t lose sight of my dreams

Though things may challenge all my might just know that I’ll be alright

I promise you and this I say, I’ll see you another day

I’ll take my dreams and make them come true

My inspiration is cause of you, must be what you teach and how I see

And when I look at what I have done and who I’ve touched I’ll know what to say
