'NIGHT, MOTHER
By Marsha Norman

A work-in-progress staged reading
Directed by John Wright, black-box format

July 26, 27, 28, 7:30 PM

UW-Manitowoc’s University Theatre production of Marsha Norman’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “Night, Mother will be presented as a work-in-progress staged reading, performed by community members Emilee Landon and Emily Wagner.

‘Night, Mother is an eloquent, enthralling and ultimately shattering play that explores the final hour in the life of a young woman who has decided that life is no longer worth living.  It deals with the sensitive issue of suicide and is recommended for audiences who can engage in this theme maturely.

All tickets are $3.00 for this workshop production, free to UW-Manitowoc students. Following each evening’s presentation, there will be talkbacks to discuss the issue of suicide and suicide prevention.
